    This has been our special occasion go-to place for years. However, after this last visit I seriously doubt we'll be back. We started out with a very mediocre garden salad. We order oysters for an appetizer. They had entirely too much batter, which was also very hard. Two of us had shrimp and grits as the main course. It looked like shrimp and grits soup! It came in a bowl, was runny, and swimming in oil! And made me ill all the following day! All this for their usual exorbitant prices. Sorry, but there are plenty of far less expensive places to eat with better food.

    We have been here before and were very pleased. Tonight was disappointing. Food took forever. The servers seemed overwhelmed. Had to ask several times for bread. Lamb was overcooked, as was the fillet. The fillet was smothered in sauce. We have never had a bad meal here.before . It was always an enjoyable and delicious meal, until today

    A gem tucked away in the SC back country. Worth the drive from the city. Best steak and food in the state! Go there for a special night out and you won’t regret it!

    Just a great place, out in the country, food is top notch. Dry aged steak! Need I say more. Highly recommend, great service as well.
